Alva Charles Dowdy

Alva Charles Dowdy, 58, of Reidsville, NC passed away February 16, 2023.

He was born in Richmond, VA to the late Alva Wayne Dowdy and Bonnie Mae Crawford in 1964 but grew up in New Kent County, VA.

Alva was loving dad and grandfather.

He was a truck driver for over 30 years and a devoted driver for Stout Trucking for 16 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include three children, Nicole (Kenny) of Wentworth, NC, Dustin of Woonsocket, RI, and Molly (Chris) of Snowhill, NC; grandchildren, Ashton, Rosco, and Dawson; aunt and uncles, Junie Harper (Wayne), Kenneth Crawford (Brenda), and Bobbie Crawford (Linda) all of Amelia, VA.
