Deborah Lynn (Whitmire) Jones

Deborah Jones (Whitmire), 72, of Greensboro went home to be with Jesus on May 24, 2022.  She was born to Fred and Rollie Whitmire on March 29, 1950 in Hoxie Arkansas.

Debbie was known as the Neighborhood Mom and loved by all; young and old.

Raising 5 kids of her own; 2 granddaughters, Savannah and Amanda Collins; and great grandson, Jeremyah Collins.

Debbie loved to cook; travel to the beach or mountains with the grandkids; an avid pool player with husband, Paul; and most of all, a Great Nurturer to everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Douglas Jones of the home; brother, Roy Whitmire and wife Dorothy; sons, Chan, Jeff, Neil (fiancé, Analyn), Mark (wife, Patrisha) Collins; daughter, Crystal Collins; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 2:00 pm, at Mt. Hope Baptist Church, 1117 Mt. Hope Church Road, McLeansville, NC 27301.
