Loretta Ann Bishop Stanley Turner

September 24, 1938- January 1, 2025

"For we walk through Faith not by sight" 2 Corinthians 5:7

Loretta Ann Turner, 86, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and devoted Christian, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior in the early hours of January 21, 2025.

Born to the late Lily and Dewey Bishop, Loretta was raised in a loving family alongside her siblings, Wanda Groot, Rita Williams, and the late Eugene Bishop. Her early years helped shape the strong family values and deep faith that would define her life's journey.

She is now united with her beloved husband, Orville Turner, who preceded her in death in 2014.

A pillar of strength and maternal love, Loretta was the proud mother of five sons: her beloved son, David Stanley, who preceded her in death in 2019, as well as her surviving sons, Kenneth, Scott, Mark, and Kurtis Stanley.

Herr legacy continues through her grandchildren: Crystal, Megan, Kristen, Michael, and Tyler Stanley, who each brought immense joy to her life.

Loretta's nurturing spirit extended to her cherished animal companions who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her faithful cat Queenie, who  survives her. shared 22 remarkable years by her side. Rocky(2) was truly the joy of her life, becoming her constant shadow and loyal companion. Sweetie(2) was known for sharing endless loving kisses while Journey(1) became her trusted confidant during life's challenging moments, always ready to lend a sympathetic ear.

Loretta's unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her existence. A down-to-earth Christian woman, she lived her beliefs daily through her actions and love for others. Her devotion to the Lord was evident in how she cared for her family and touched the lives of those around her.

She lived a life marked by dedication to her family, steadfast faith, and quiet strength. Her warm presence, gentle spirit, and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. While our hearts mourn her earthly departure, we take comfort in knowing she had been welcomed into God's kingdom, where she now serves as one of His newest angels.
