Serena Alane Kennedy (Nealey)
August 1, 1966-June 16, 2025
Serena Kennedy, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully from this life on June 16, 2025, at the age of 58 years old.
Born and raised in Thomasville, North Carolina, Serena called Thomasville her home throughout her life, filling it with love, laughter, and countless memories.
She is now reunited in heaven with her mother, grandparents, and ,many cherished aunts and uncles.
Serena's legacy lives on through her loving family; her daughter, Caitlin, her sons Carey and John (son-in-law), her brother Marty and sister-in-law Sandy, her beloved grandchildren Ethan, Erin, Phoenix, Jennings, and Luke ("Jack jack), and her dear Aunt Ann, Her family was her greatest joy, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life.
Serena has a zest for life and an adventurous spirit. She loved to travel whenever she could, whether to the mountains or her favorite place- the beach. Her adventures even took her as far as California, where she saw Ozzy Osbourne's house and met Woody Harrelson- a memory she proudly shares with everyone! A true foodie at heart, Serena delighted in trying new restaurants and always had a list of places she still wanted to explore.
Above all, Serena will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, her love for family, and her unwavering faith.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Serena's honor on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Full Armor Christian Center, located at 5043 Meadowbrook Drive, Trinity, NC 27370.
