On Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, Timothy M. McQuillen, loving father of two daughters, passed away peacefully at the age of 66 in Greensboro, NC. Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 18, 1955, Timothy was raised on Staten Island.
Over the years, he was employed in the food service industry. His father jokingly referred to him as the butter and eggs man. Tim relocated to Haskell, NJ and then to Oakland, NJ. After retirement, he moved to Greensboro, NC to be near his daughter, Holley McQuillen.
Timothy had a passion for fishing and loved to teach the other kids the art of fresh water fishing. In his spare time, Tim volunteered as middle school basketball coach. He also enjoyed collecting rare and special coins. Tim loved lottery scratch offs and was hoping to someday win the big one.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Eugene and his mother, Audrey; sisters, Patricia McQuillen and Kathleen Imperiale; and brothers, Eugene and Daniel McQuillen. He is survived by his two daughters, Holley and Kelsey McQuillen; sister, Maureen Amundsen; brothers, Dennis and Matthew McQuillen; as well as several nieces and nephews.
